Challenge Buttress
Overall:
This is a very popular area that can get crowded but its popular for a reason… It is a great spot to take your kids!
Routes:
Its mostly easy-moderate climbs ranging from 5.6 to 5.11. Your toddlers should do great on some of the easier climbs. You can read more about the area at: Mountain Project and pages 98-102 in A Flacon Guide: Rock Climbing the Wasatch Range.
Approach:
It starts out steep but levels out. Its a 10 minute approach at most and definitely doable for kids.
Landing:
The base of most the climbs are great for kids. They have room to play but are also contained to the area by shrubs.
Traffic:
It can definitely get crowded at times here.
