Beachball Crag
Overall:
Warning: You are right next to the river. Depending on the season, most of the landing can be in the water. This might very dangerous depending on the age of your kids and the circumstance of your group.
Routes:
As far as I know, all the routes are Trad. Its a short crag with around 20 climbs ranging from 5.4-5.12a(most of which are 5.10 and under).
The far 5.3 on the right could be a good kid climbing route if you sling the boulder on top for the anchors.
You can read more about this area at Mountain Project
Approach:
The approach is extremely short because it is so close to the road.
Landing:
The landing is very shady but also very streamside and some of the routes start directly out of the water.
Extra Kid Fun:
There’s the river of course and its very close to some picnic areas.
Potential Dangers:
The river could be very dangerous and as a parent you would need to be on high alert. It is not somewhere I would take my children because I have so many toddlers that I would worry about.
